Project Sites

Climate EduXchange is currently in its sixth year of operation, and is reaching out to the following cities:

  1. Bangalore:
The capital city of Karnataka has been chosen for implementing the project in its sixth year. This is a hub for Information Technology, and has relatively high levels of computer literacy amongst the students in this city, making it an ideal place to run a programme of this stature.
  2. Delhi & NCR:
The capital of India is one of the greenest cities in the country. The schools already have active environmental clubs, which will aid in the quick dissemination of information on climate change. Moreover, EYSD's intervention in Delhi and NCR has been extremely successful and are more than a decade old.
  3. Chennai:
The capital city of Tamil Nadu, known for its rich cultural heritage, has been chosen for intensifying the activities in the 6th year of the project. Being a coastal city, it is also susceptible to floods caused by climate change, thus making it an important place to run the programme.

Over the years the project has reached out to schools in Mysore, Jaipur, Pondicherry, Hyderabad, Medak, Chandigarh, Mohali, Pune and Mumbai.
